NAPLES - The normal man 'is the new song by Flo, released on digital platforms and in radio rotation from Friday 11 September 2020. Two years after the last official publication, the Neapolitan artist thus announces the new record project, which sees the artistic production by the well-known French producer Sebastien Martel.
The new unreleased album, entitled 31SALVITUTTI, will be released on November 13th (production Arealive srl - Believe Digital distribution).
The normal man is the one who is unaware of how much racism, how much homophobia, how much fascism is hidden in his daily gestures. He is not the criminal or the serial killer, but our neighbor, our father, our co-worker. He is the one who works for the family and therefore expects his son to be a champion by force; who does not beat his wife, but dictates how to dress; which tolerates foreigners and has nothing against gays.
Maybe we are the normal man.
Flo Biography. Songwriter, theater actress and unpredictable entertainer, Flo is an artist who seduces thanks to a visceral voice and an original and persuasive writing.
Tireless adventurer, in music and in life, she travels in search of boundaries to cross, stories to listen to and emotions to challenge. Her performances are rhythm that involves, story that fascinates, ritual, dance, impulses of vitality and passion. A fascinating balance between the ecstasy, melancholy and theatricality typical of Southern Italy.
She made her debut in the world of musical theater at a very young age, under the aegis of Claudio Mattone. In 2014 his first album "D'AMORE E DI OTHER COSE IRREVERSIBILI" was released in Europe which, received with great enthusiasm by critics and the public, will obtain some of the most important Italian awards (Musicultura 2014 Award, "Radio Rai 1" Award for the Best Music at Musicultura 2014, Andrea Parodi Absolute Award 2014, Best Music at the Parodi Award 2014, Best Arrangement at the Parodi Award 2014).
Two years later he recorded "THE MONTH OF THE ROSARY" (Best text at the Bianca d'Aponte 2014 award, 2015 Musicultura Award, among the candidates for the Tenco plates in the categories "Best album of the year" and "Best song").
In 2018 she released her third album "LA MENTIROSA", which consecrates her among the most refined singer-songwriters of the so-called author's World music. Some of the most important music journals in Europe (fRoots, Songlines etc ...) have written of her as an artist with an unmistakable style, with a language rich in references and contamination yet unprecedented and personal.
During his career he has recorded and shared the stage with Stefano Bollani, Paolo Fresu, Daniele Sepe, Enrico Rava, Jorge Hernandez, Giovanni Guidi, Luca Aquino, Vincenzo Zitello, Elena Ledda and Paolo Angeli.
In the theater she was the protagonist of musical and prose shows, directed by directors such as Alfredo Arias, Mimmo Borrelli, Davide Iodice, Massimo Luconi, Claudio Di Palma, Michele Schiano di Cola, Sarasole Notarbartolo, Claudio Mattone, Gino Landi, while she is currently at alongside Daria Bignardi in the reading "The consciousness of anxiety".
He has made soundtracks for cinema and theater, conducted a series of episodes dedicated to music for Swiss radio and television, participated in several documentaries for Deutschlandfunk Kultur and published numerous costume articles.
In November 2020, the release of "31SALVITUTTI", his fourth album of unreleased songs, produced by Frenchman Sebastien Martel, is expected. In the spring of 2021, “Brave Girls” will be released in Europe, a work of research, translation and reinterpretation of songs, signed by the most courageous singer-songwriters of the Latin and Mediterranean world.
